Exploring East London
Rabbi Rigal's interest in the Jewish history of the East End of London grew into a much broader interest in the places and historic features of East London. After writing about the Jewish East End for the SWESRS site he decided to start a new site covering the history and public spaces of East London for a more general audience.
Jewish Customs
Rabbi Rigal wrote Jewish Customs as an accessible guide to Jewish practices primarily from a UK Liberal or Reform perspective.
Stepney Branch of SWESRS
Rabbi Rigal wrote this website specifically for the Stepney branch of South West Essex and Settlement Reform Synagogue (SWESRS), formerly the Settlement Synagogue. As well as the rich history of the Synagogue, the site also includes articles on the Jewish East End and other issues.
